Compounded medications are not FDA-approved finished drug products. Your provider will recommend the best option based on your health profile.

Compounded semaglutide and tirzepatide are prescribed when an independent, licensed medical provider determines it is clinically appropriate for the individual patient, for example, when a patient requires a specific dosage strength, formulation, or delivery method not available in the commercially manufactured product, or when the patient has a documented clinical need the branded product cannot meet.
